This festival celebrates San Mendes and his works as a filmmaker. The project was to create a design system for the film festival that reflects a consistent and cohesive look across all touch points. 

The festival theme is Breaking Free which is the main characteristic across Sam Mendes most popular films. The breaking of glass and ceramic was added as a visual clue to imply a struggle, and rupture of the status quo. The colors are muted and somber depicting a sense of loneliness and longing. All these features were incorporated into the event’s catalog, mobile app, signage, environmental graphics, tickets, and packaging, making the whole project into a unified visual system.
